Kontram was founded in 1966. The original business idea was to import instrumentation and automation products for the Finnish industry. At some point business activities were extended on turnkey projects.
Although the growth of the company brought new products to changing markets, the steadiness of business activities is reflected by the fact that many products in our product range have been represented since the founding of the company.
Kontram has been known as one of the leading companies in Finnish process automation technology. Already more than decade ago Kontram has achieved very strong reputation in test and measurement instruments, electric components and machine automation.
Kontram Oy has regional sales offices in Vantaa, Lappeenranta and Tampere, but also sales and service staff in Äänekoski and in Oulu. In 2014 the turnover was about 25 million Euros. Kontram is a member of international sales group, Indutrade Ab.
